I was trained at the Canadian College Of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON. I received my Doctor of Naturopathy degree after four years of studying naturopathic medicine, including one year of clinical practice. I am certified by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC to practice acupuncture as well as naturopathy.

I received a Master of Science from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria. I am a biologist and ecologist, as well as a post-secondary education instructor.

I have studied yoga for many years and am an IKYTA certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor.

I am also a parent, nature-lover, and community-minded spirit. I am happy and comfortable serving patients of all genders, ages, and backgrounds.

Naturopathic Principles:

Naturopathic physicians practice the six fundamental principles of naturopathic medicine:

  • The Healing Power of Nature - Trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself.

  • Identify and Treat the Causes - Look beyond the symptoms to the underlying cause.

  • First Do No Harm - Utilize the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies.

  • Doctor as Teacher - Educate patients in the steps to achieving and maintaining health.

  • Treat the Whole Person - View the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimensions.

  • Prevention - Focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention.
